I went over to my grandparents house to make some much-delayed hamentashen and convinced them to let me take their picture – this is a new thing I’m doing where any house I enter and any guests at my own house are subjected to a mini portrait session whether they like it or not. Some people are starting to say that I’m quite bossy.
Peeking at the photos on my camera screen, my grandfather exclaimed “but we look so old, I look like an old man!” My reply?  ”You ARE old. It’s a camera, not a time machine.”…What else am I supposed to say when someone states the obvious?
