Vicky (Future Mr. Dream’s mom) bought me a set of lovely screw on 1950s earrings for the wedding and the generous lady that she purchased them from gifted me some almost perfectly matched 1950s costume jewelry to go along with it.
As expected, the rhinestones which make up the flowers were quite loose but miraculously none of them had been lost. Given my bad luck with super glue (yes…I super-glued my engagement ring to my finger last month. You shouldn’t laugh but I know you will anyway.) and our surprising lack of jewelers glue, I asked mom and dad to fix it up for me, because they love me soooo much!

Yes…we used some random medical newsletter thing to protect the table so you get to stare at a random lady’s face and a blob of hands to the left and a pile of the remaining of 84 rhinestones and the unfinished bracelet to the right.
